Device check
After the last information page,
a self-test as well as the individual
test are offered. If you select Self test,
all individual tests are carried out.
Device manager (DM)
Sessions can be initiated in different
ways.
Manual session: You start the DM
session via this menu option.
Software update: The phone
checks the software status each
time it is switched on. If an update
is available a request is displayed.
Confirm the requests to start the
software update and to re-boot
your phone.
The phone default settings vary from
service provider to service provider
and can be as follows:
The settings have already been
implemented by the provider. You
can start immediately.
Access profiles have already been
created by your provider. Select
and activate a profile.
The access profiles must be con-
figured manually. If necessary,
check with your service provider
for details. You will find the cur-
rent settings for the service pro-
vider on the Internet at
www.BenQMobile.com/customercare
under "FAQ".

Display the currently active profile
and summary results of the last
session.

Software version
To display the software version for your
phone in standby mode:

If you want to start a session the battery
must be charged at least 50%.
Start
Start the DM session.
Select
profile
Select a profile (profile
options see below).
Last
session
Show the details of the last
session (e.g. date, time,
additional info).
Resume
session
If the last session can be re-
sumed: resume last session.

Activate
Activate the highlighted
profile.
Edit profile
Edit the highlighted profile
(see page 119).
Restore
defaults
Restore the profile to the
default values.
